From a paper menu to a reviewed digital draft

  1. 1. Photograph clearly

Upload up to five clear menu photos. Keep every page readable, avoid glare and make sure prices are visible.

  2. 2. Generate the draft

Qrezy extracts categories, dish names, descriptions and prices into an editable draft. Extraction can make mistakes, especially with small text or complex layouts.

  3. 3. Review before publishing

Compare every item with the original. Correct prices, categories, veg/non-veg/egg markers and optional spice levels. Restaurant staff remain responsible for the information.

  4. 4. Publish and scan

Confirm your Indian restaurant address and entrance pin, publish the menu, then scan the printed QR on a real phone. Later dish and price edits keep the same published menu link.

Illustrative review example — not a customer result

Source menu line: “Paneer tikka · ₹220 · vegetarian”. A useful draft creates a dish and price field, but the owner must still confirm the spelling, ₹220 price and vegetarian marker. Do not let an inferred marker answer an allergy question.

What the scanner does not promise

  • No error-free OCR or guaranteed setup time.
  • Photo import, not direct PDF, CSV or spreadsheet extraction through the AI scanner.
  • No automatic translation, verified allergens, nutrition calculation or GST/FSSAI compliance certification.
  • No diner cart, checkout, UPI ordering or POS integration.

The Free plan includes one hosted menu and two AI scans per month. Pro and Business have different scan and menu limits. You can also enter dishes manually instead of using AI.
